It is always a great testimonial for a school when its alumni thrive and ISB is no exception. Recently, Dilipkumar Khandelwal, who is the MD, SAP Labs, India, made it to the ‘40 Under Forty’ list of the Economic Times and Spencer Stuart in September, 2016. Other people who joined the list are Devansh Jain who holds the position of Whole-Time Director of Inox Wind, Deepak Gaur, who is the Managing Director of SAIF Partners and Byju Raveendran, who is the Founder of Think & Learn.

Dilip completed the PGPMAX program from ISB and maintains a close relationship with the school. He has been associated with German enterprise software maker SAP for over 13 years, holding the global position of Executive Vice-president and Global Head, Enterprise Cloud Services. In his role of Managing Director, he leads more than 6000 organisations that deliver software applications.

“Failure is nothing to fear. When you fail, you learn, and come back with more passion,” said Dilip Khandelwal, when he spoke at the Mohali campus of the Indian School of Business. Dilip began his career as a Technology Consultant, engaging with various large organisations to realise value out of their IT investments and later took on various other roles like Development, Quality and Partner Enablement.

Dilip completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Bombay University and an Executive Leadership Program from INSEAD. He also completed various management programs for Senior Executives from Kellogg and Wharton. Dilip is an ardent Kabaddi fan and describes the sport as one that requires concentration, strength and the skill of analysing the opponent’s purpose.

In his words, his long-term plan is ‘to leverage technology to make a difference to the people around by supporting and enabling young entrepreneurs’.
