In 2016, ISB completed fifteen years of shaping dreams and enriching the corporate talent pool, worldwide, by kicking off the ISB@15 series of events across major cities in India and abroad. The events included the Singapore Reception, a visit from the President of India, ISB Day at Mohali, ISB Day at Hyderabad, Solstice, Bangalore Reception, Mumbai Reception, Bay Area Reception, New York Reception and the New Delhi Grand Finale.
A section of the website of the institute paid tribute to the very first 15 employees of ISB. The website also revealed little known facts such as, that ISB happens to be the youngest business school to be ranked with the top 30 business schools of the world; that it is home to diverse species of flora and fauna at both its campuses; that it is the first business school from South Asia to get the prestigious AACSB Accreditation, that it is the largest provider of Executive Education in India and that it is the most research-productive Indian management institution.
ISB Dean, Rajendra Srivastava, in a video to mark the passage of 15 illustrious years, gave special credit to ISB’s partner schools, which have helped the school to emerge as the institute that provides an unparalleled quality of management education. He unveiled ISB’s plan of becoming the top business school in Asia and amongst the top 10, world-wide. Towards achieving this dream, he discussed a three pronged approach. In the first drive, ISB proposes to acquire a reputation as the school that balances the best of Asian insights with the best of the West. In the second, ISB will push for impact on business strategy and public policy by focusing on both theory and practice and close collaboration with corporate entities, partner schools and government agencies. In the third, ISB plans to develop a multi-disciplinary perspective in its programs and research centre institutes.
ISBmantra congratulates ISB for 15 remarkable years of unmitigated success in empowering professionals and enriching industry and wishes this seat of excellence many more years of path-breaking initiatives, in the years to come.
